We highly value security as we equally value our customers and our reputation as a company. We make sure that we provide not only good security on your data but the best security service possible.

We assure that we cover all areas of Xamun that need security. These are the user security, application security and data center security. Each area has unique security practices plan to block any unauthorized access to your sensitive data.

User Security:
In a SaaS environment, there are only two points of entry. One is the back-end, used by the SaaS provider and the other is the front-end which users utilize. Once a user accesses Xamun and logs in, the user data is protected. Xamun has a strict user security to prevent hackers from accessing the application.

Xamun uses claim-based identity for user authentication and authorization. Xamun will authenticate the user if the set of credentials are valid and signed by a trusted authority (called Issuer). Xamun then validates the set of credentials after the Issuer sends it back.
Application Security:
With the emerging technology such as virtualization, we do not let our guards down from pranksters who are seeking attention and would try to penetrate the system. We make sure that we have security features to keep your data safe in our application.

Xamun goes beyond the standard password access. It has identity and role-based access permissions. Since Xamun is web-based, it includes tight password encryption with 128-bit SSL and logs the number of attempts to log on.
Data Center Security:
As important as the front-end security, the back-end of Xamun is also equipped with airtight protection by making use of Microsoft's Cloud Security Infrastructure. This is for the reason that Xamun is residing on the Microsoft's cloud called Windows Azure.

Windows Azure is a platform for running web-based applications and storing the data in the cloud (Microsoft Data Centers). With Windows Azure as our SaaS provider, Xamun inherits all its security features to protect all its tenants' data and applications.

Microsoft's data centers are provided with the highest security possible, including their physical and electronic infrastructure of the entire network. Their data centers are secured with biometric devices, card readers, locks, cameras and alarms to make sure that only the authorized personnel are allowed inside their server area. All of the servers are have mirror back up and are behind firewalls, application gateways and IDS to prevent malicious access.

To ease your mind on the security of your data, Microsoft's cloud infrastructure has achieved both SAS 70 Type I and Type II attestations and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification. This demonstrates Microsoft's compliance and commitment to delivering a trustworthy cloud computing infrastructure.
